@guest: If you read our Roach Control Article, you'll learn the bait is usually the easier the way to proceed in getting rid of german roaches. But since you've been spraying already, you might want to change over the products we have listed above. These are professional grade and will no doubt work better compared to what you've been using. However, I would prefer you change to a "bait only" approach because in our experience, this method always prevails and in the process, it will save you both time and aggravation. The link to our article is here:

And in the article the section on the best baits to use is here:

http://www.germanroaches.com/roach-control#roach_bait

In summary, my suggestion is to use one of the professional sprays mentioned above if you wish to continue spraying but really, a good baiting program is hard to beat and usually more productive while saving you both time and cost.

Hello: I live in a small condo building that's about 100 years old. A few weeks ago I put my place on the market and signed a disclosure statement saying that there had never been an insect infestation--and it was true, at the time.

Within a day or two I started seeing one, and then two or so roaches a day. I'm frantic because while I'm using a spray, there's no point in calling an exterminator unless the whole building is done, and to do that I'd have to get the other owners to agree to it, and it would take weeks to get it to happen.

Meanwhile, I'm controlling them (barely) by spraying everywhere--and of course I don't sleep at all anymore. I'm thinking of calling an exterminator privately and having him do my condo only. I don't want to sell the place with roaches in it, but I can't stand to live with this problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
